Why Is NY’s Weed Rollout Such a Disaster?

Good in theory—except that by the time licenses rolled out, thousands of illegal dispensaries had already set up shop. What Needs to Change?

- 🔨 Enforce the Law (Properly) – Shutting down a shop for a day isn’t enough. Either legal weed is the future, or we’re just playing pretend.
- 💰 Fix the Taxes – If legal weed is too pricey, people will keep buying from their guy down the block. Simple economics.
